Class Experience

In this one-time class, we will dive into the ocean and learn about three of the gentle giant animals that call the ocean home!

As we virtually visit their ocean habitats, we will locate and identify some gentle giant underwater animals. We will learn where these animals live, what they eat, what they are called, interesting facts about them, and more!

Children will learn about three of the gentle giants that live in the ocean.

I am fascinated by animals! I love to learn about all types of animals and then share that knowledge with others. I grew up on a large livestock farm, on which my family raised sheep, cattle, goats, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and even ostriches! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences, and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. My passions are teaching children and sharing my love and expertise of animals with everyone!
I am a certified teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade in public schools. I also have a year of experience teaching Kindergarten Readiness to preschool students.

-optional, printable coloring sheet of the animals that we are learning about in class will be uploaded to the classroom 24 hours prior to the start of the class session. Students are able to color on this sheet during or after class.
