US Grade 8 - 11
This class is for a student taking a geometry course and will sit for a geometry regents exam in January. If you are not a student already taking a high school geometry course, you will find this content overwhelming so please choose your classes wisely. This is a 3-day course to review New York State Geometry Regents content around these major areas: December 27 (day 1): Volume December 28 (day 2): Similarity and Transformations December 29 (day 3): Circle Geometry We will warm up with the topics listed and then practice further with Regents questions on these topics specifically. We will work on an online whiteboard that students will have access to after the class session is over, but students must have their notebook, calculator, and pencils to work easily. The Geometry Regents is on Wednesday, January 25 at 9:15am.
