What will be taught? This course will cover: The basics of balanced nutrition, including macronutrients and micronutrients. Building healthy eating habits and learning portion control. Reading food labels and making informed food choices. Physical activity tips tailored to the learner’s lifestyle and goals. Creating a realistic and enjoyable fitness plan to improve health and well-being. Topics Covered: Understanding food groups and their benefits for a balanced diet. Tips for creating a healthy daily meal plan. The importance of hydration and tracking water intake. Setting achievable fitness goals based on individual interests. Strategies for staying active and consistent with a physical routine. Class Structure: Each session will focus on specific aspects of nutrition and physical health. Based on individual goals, sessions will cover topics like meal planning, building healthy routines, fitness motivation, and adjusting plans over time. I’ll use visual aids, discussion, and hands-on activities to engage the student and provide actionable steps they can take. Teaching Style: This class is personalized and interactive. I’ll tailor each session to the student’s unique goals and needs, focusing on practical tips and real-life applications. Our discussions will be supportive, with a balance of information and encouragement to keep the student motivated.

I hold a Level 5 qualification in Sports and Leisure Management, where I completed in-depth modules focused on Sports Coaching and Nutrition. This qualification provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of guiding young learners in topics related to health, fitness, and wellness. Furthermore, I have over five years of experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Sports, specifically delivering units on Sports Nutrition and Sports Coaching.
In my teaching role, I’ve helped teens understand complex concepts in nutrition, training, and wellness by breaking them down into accessible, engaging lessons. My curriculum is based on current research and evidence-based strategies to promote lifelong healthy habits. I am dedicated to creating a supportive, motivating environment that encourages teens to make positive choices for their physical and mental well-being. This blend of formal education, specialized knowledge, and practical teaching experience enables me to effectively guide teens in building a foundation of healthy habits they can carry into adulthood.
