Class Experience
In this one-time class, students will learn about the 5 main food groups: fruits, vegetables, protein, grains, and dairy. They will also be able to identify foods within each food group. Then, students will learn how to properly fill their plate and include these food groups to make a healthy, nutrient-dense meal. This class will be interactive to keep students engaged and utilize games to help check for understanding at the end of class. For example, students will be presented with a plate...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
