Students will learn many components of a healthy lifestyle including eating, sleep, and movement. They will learn to be mindful of the choices they make regarding their health.
I’ve been studying health and nutrition on my own for over fifteen years. I became interested in it when I was experiencing my own health problems and was looking for answers outside of medication. In November of 2019, I began my studies and received my health coach certification from the Primal Health Coach Institute in the spring of 2020. I have also run several nutrition groups on social media and have helped friends and family members to clean up their diets and improve their health. As a health coach, my passion is motivating and encouraging others to love and live a healthy lifestyle.
Homework Offered
Each week I will give the kids a challenge to complete like eating green vegetables, etc. Throughout the week there will also be coloring pages and worksheets to complete. Students also have the opportunity to make their own notes and pictures to add to their journals.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students will need a notebook of some kind for this class. I recommend a three-ring binder or folder with brads so that papers can be inserted and removed as needed. I'll supply links for journal pages, worksheets, and coloring pages. Students may want to use notebook paper to add their own material to their journals. Pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, and crayons can all be used to enhance the student's notebook.
