Students will understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle and how they can create it.
In 2015 I became a certified CrossFit trainer, professional powerlifter and sponsored athlete! Partnering with 1st Phorm, I have recently been trained in nutrition basics, including my plate, macro and micro nutrients, as well as nutritional breakdown. I am trained to advise on the importance of a healthy diet, as well as obtaining health and fitness related goals. Additionally, after competing in CrossFit from 2015 to 2018, I began training in professional powerlifting and lifestyle maintenance. Today, work with IFBB professional competitors and run a Health and Wellness challenge every 3 months! As a health advisor, I help many people (children and adults) obtain their long and short term health goals.
Students will be expected to share their physical activities for the day/week as well as new recipe and plate ideas!
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
