In this 6 week class for the age group 10-12, students will learn about Scientific Computing in Python. There will be sessions once a week, each lesson is 60 minutes long. There will be no homework.
Students need a computer or a laptop for the class. Internet connection is required.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I am going to use repl.it (https://replit.com/~) which is good tool for a group to work on the same project. Students can see, modify and run the same source code. It is a safe site to use. Students need to register and I will invite them to my repl we use in the class. When registering, they should not use their last name for the username. I will only need to know their username. I won't see the email associated with the their account.
