US Grade 4
Not only is reading an essential life skill, but it can be a source of entertainment. In this class, students dive into a classic novel for this age group. Through completing class activities, students will be practicing reading comprehension skills, identifying plot events, describing characters, determining problems, defining vocabulary words, and create a personal symbol. Each lesson has a to-do list with instructions (read, answer questions, define vocabulary, watch answer videos, complete Blooket quiz). The instructor will send weekly progress reports on Fridays if work has been completed. The last activity can be submitted for teacher feedback :)

Parental Guidance
Number the Stars- is based in Denmark during WWII. Nazis are mentioned and one of the main characters is Jewish. The word 'Holocaust' is not mentioned.
Students will be playing Blooket. An account is not needed to play.
