In this one time online course, student will learn 2-3 number sense tricks and explore why these tricks work with shapes, aim to make students find fun in math and build up their confidence in this particular subject

Beginner Level
We will have this one time class on the online classroom provided by Outschool. Teaching topics will include below topics accordingly: 1. 11 trick 2. Square trick such as calculating any number square 3. One more one less trick such as quick calculating 78*79 by shaping them in mind 4. Little Gauss method Practice will be led by students with teacher's guidance, for fun and have every kid has opportunity to show their potential leadership in class.

I teach Mathematics and Mandarin Chinese.
I am majoring in Mathematics and taking the UTeach STEM education program at the University of Texas at Dallas. I have 6 years Mathematics teaching experience. I have worked in Moorpark Unified School District in California to teach math for 2 years, and kept teaching High/Middle School math online/in person since 2020. So far, I have over 3200 teaching hours on Pr-algebra, Number Sense Tricks, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pr-calculus and SAT/ACT math, more than 2200 students have been taught.
I am gifted in teaching. I believe that Passion and Interest are the best teachers, Patience and Persistence are the wisdom to achieve any learning goal.
I was born in China and love to share Chinese culture and history in mandarin. I am always passionate to be a peace-maker bridge between Western and Chinese culture, to do some constructive contribution to this nowadays world.
