Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Hello and thank you for joining me for a fun, interactive, hands one math class for young learners. I love making learning fun and I have spent many years playing and learning with young children in a public school setting. I want my classes to build confidence and self esteem while building new skills. Everyone performs better when they feel good about themselves! Let's have fun while we practice math skills!

Class will begin with introductions, with everyone getting the opportunity to introduce themselves and say hello
Learners will complete a brief warm up with fine motor hand exercises - with music
Learners will open the container of Play Dough and begin to engage with their play dough
Learners first count to five, then we will count and clap to five
Learners will be shown three different ways to show each number (word, numeral, and set)
Learners will works creating sets ups to 5
Learners will take turns and show their work individually
The lesson will conclude by reviewing the 3 ways to show numbers
If there is any additional time remaining learners may use Play Dough to create something to share with the class
Thank you so much for coming to count and play with Play Dough with me!
