Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have always believed that the greatest way to make an impact on the world, is to make an impact on the youth. Young people have the ability to become anything with the right support. My job as a teacher is to unlock students’ passions and give them the encouragement and tools to succeed in those passions. I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-8) and I am certified to teach grades K-6 in the state of Washington. I spent the last 6 months working full time in a Kindergarten classroom, so I am very familiar with the curriculum and what students will be expected to know when they begin school. I plan to teach early phonics, mathematics, and some classes that I am really passionate about such as science and art. My goal as an Outschool teacher has been to think of the most fun and memorable activities I did in school, and recreate them with my own twist to give my students an amazing learning experience. My goal is to build a classroom environment that fosters creativity, hard work, and strong relationships.
