Nuclear power is an incredible source of energy but radioactive waste is a great concern. Students will learn how nuclear energy is made through fission and fusion. We will explore a nuclear power plant and some of the important jobs that people have there. I work in sustainabilty and am passionate about sustainable energy systems. As an undergraduate I studied physics and chemistry, and I believe students should be exposed to it at a younger age. You're never too young to be a scientist!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
