Everyone enjoys a good game of hide-and-seek, right?! Students will first be introduced to the terms predator and prey, and we will share examples of each and talk about how being good at playing “hide-and-seek” is used for survival in the wild. We will see many examples of animals that use camouflage - through coloration, disguise, and mimicry. The lesson is taught with a PowerPoint presentation, two short video clips (3 minutes total), and time for student input and discussion/questions. If time allows, we will play a quick online game to find hidden objects in a picture.
