Description

Class Experience

Young students learn best when their whole body is involved and they feel comfortable in the environment. 

We will start each class with greetings and get to know you, to help the students feel comfortable with the teacher and other students. They will sing a song that talks about the sounds each letter makes. 

Students will learn about letter formation in multiple ways, first they will watch the teacher make the letter with a verbal description of how they are doing it, ex: Letter A start...

Students will be able to recognize the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make as well as list words that begin with those letters.

Something to write and show on camera, I suggest dry erase board and markers, but paper and crayon also work.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Alphardy by Dr Jean
Letters of the Alphabet Workout (uppercase) by Jack Hartmann

1 hour 45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
