Class Experience

A full understanding of songs in first position and in the keys of A Major, D Major, G Major, and C Major. Advanced classes may cover D Minor.
I have been teaching violin for 25 years and performing on stage since I was 3 years old.  Everything I teach is out of experience and are the building blocks for my own technique as a concert violinist.  I am patient and have experience with students with special needs.  
Daily practice for 15-20 minutes
pdf's of the music are provided. A good sounding violin with tape marks and a shoulder rest. (Optional) Suzuki Violin School Volume 1 is where I pull many of our pieces from.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Direct feedback from the instructor.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Age appropriate.  However do to the fast pace of the class, parents are welcome to listen in and assist where necessary.  Parents do not need to have any prior knowledge of music to assist.  However, I request that parents be present only as an assistant.  Parent questions should be emailed to me.
