In this club, preteen authors will meet weekly to get tips and tricks on writing their first novel from a published author and be able to collaborate with other young writers to meet their writing goals and finish their first novels!
Class experience
Are you a young writer looking to tackle the daunting task of writing a novel? You are not alone! Whether you're just in the beginning stages or are already looking to publish- this club is for you! I have been writing since I was barely able to grip a pen. My short story and play I wrote when I was four got rave reviews from my mom and dad! I tried to write my first novel around age seven and didn't finish one until I was sixteen. That is to say- no matter where you are on your writing...
This class is taught in English.
This club will teach skills like outlining stories, creating workable weekly goals, collaborating with other writers, revising drafts, reaching out to publishers and agents, and much more!
I am a published novelist and completed my first novella in eighth grade and my first novel in eleventh grade. I published my first novel in college and am currently working on a five-book series!
