Homework Offered
In order to complete drafts, students will write additionally outside of class. There is no required number of minutes or pages per week as it will be determined by the student's self-paced plan. Should there be unforeseen circumstances, and a student is unable to complete their goal writing, it will not impact their performance in class because grades are not in effect. This is a low-pressure project. Even if a learner strays off their self-projected course, they are still able to meet with us for all 8 sessions and continue writing. There's no hard rule of completion. Most authors finish the course with a partial manuscript as a full work takes time. Some continue with the group in another 8 week session. Some finish on their own. Note: I selected a 1-2 hour per week estimation with at home writing because it's up to the author to decide a healthy work-life balance. It will state 60 minutes in class and 1-2 hours outside for this reason. Each learner is different. They can definitely devote as much time as they like and that will determine how far they get in their manuscript.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
