Description
Class Experience
Students will learn reading strategies such as fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. Students will also learn elements of a novel such as theme, character, plot, setting, story structure, character development, vocabulary, and higher level questioning strategies.
Students will read the next set of chapters assigned as homework to prepare for the next class.
A copy of the book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". Handouts provided in the Outschool classroom.
Learning will be assessed per class through discussion and through related activities.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
