In this 4 week novel study, students will engage in a book club discussing a fantastic book called "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe".
Class Experience
US Grade 3 - 5
Students will actively participate in a novel study by reading "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". In this class, the teacher and the students discuss elements of the novel. My teaching style includes a fun and engaging way to refer back to the text and discuss a fantastic and classic book. I encourage a high level of student participation, discussion, and engagement while I act as the facilitator. Each class will include discussions and interactive activities related to the study....
- Students will learn reading strategies such as fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. Students will also learn elements of a novel such as theme, character, plot, setting, story structure, character development, vocabulary, and higher level questioning strategies.
