Class Experience
🌟🌟 Ask for a free reading assessment🌟🌟 In this full 1-hour class, learners will, as a group, read a chapter book and engage in class discussions with their peers and teacher. There will be comprehension questions that focus in numerous areas: main idea, detail, inference, sequence, character building, author's purpose and vocabulary. Learners will practice answering questions both verbally as well as in written form using complete sentences. Students will learn how to be part of a group...
Students will be required to read roughly 1-4 chapters outside of class each week.
Parents will need to purchase the books used for class. Book titles will be sent out 2-3 weeks ahead of time. Book comprehension question PDFs will be sent to parents before the book is started. You will need to print these out.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
