Learn writing skills from a published author and a professional editor! In this summer camp, students will learn the basic skills needed to write a short story or a novel. The five basic components for a short story are: the characters/point of view, the setting, the plot, the conflict, and the theme. I will help students develop their skills in writing strong paragraphs needed for both academic and creative writing. We will work on using strong verbs as well as using adverbs and adjectives...
