Nous Aimons Les Couleurs ! - Basic French Color Conversation (Small Group)

Bonjour, et bienvenue! Come join us for this city-themed class where we will talk about places we go to and see in cities in French.

The course will be mostly immersion-based (barring any necessary tech support or classroom commands in the beginning). Through the use of learning materials such as slides, GIFs, gestures, and props, most students should be able to understand the sentence frames and vocabulary. It is suitable for any introductory-level French student, as well as complete beginners. I keep my one-time class sizes small so that students can be comfortable in an intimate setting and get plenty of pronunciation and speaking practice.

The class will be structured as followed:
- Introducing ourselves (“Je m’appelle ______.”)
- Repetition of target vocabulary in isolation, followed by usage in a sentence describing the color of common objects
- Q & A practicing the verb "aimer" (to like) : modeled by teacher, then practiced by students (“Est-ce que tu aimes le (color) ?” [Do you like (__color__?] —> “Oui, j'aime le (__color__). / Non, je n'aime pas le (__color__)." = [Yes, I like __color__. No, I don't like __color__.)
