Nouns, Verbs, and Pronouns Party With Pirates: An Elementary Grammar Review

In this 35-minute one time course, students will review nouns, verbs, and pronouns. Coming dressed as a pirate is optional as we have fun learning these grammar points.

Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will participate in pirate-themed party games to review nouns, verbs, and pronouns. We will also do basic sentence diagramming for a few sentences. Students will have the option to dress like a pirate (the teacher will be). We will start class by having introductions and then we'll discuss pirates and I'll  introduce the grammar points. 

This class is good for beginners who are just barely exposed to the concepts of noun, verb, and pronoun, but it is also a fun class...

By the end of this class, students will be more confident in identifying nouns, verbs, and pronouns.

I have a BA in English from ASU and also have a lot of experience teaching elementary grammar to younger children.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
