In just 30 minutes, we will learn the basic parts of speech: how to identify them and use them correctly when creating sentences of our own. Students will learn this terminology through interactive activities and through writing practice.

Class Experience

During this one time class, students will learn all about some of the different parts of speech such as: nouns, verbs and adjectives. Students will learn about these concepts, but will also learn to identify them in sentences and will gain practice with using them to write their own sentences.

Students will learn about nouns, adjectives and verbs and will apply this new knowledge to sentences and writing.

As a certified elementary school teacher, grammar and parts of speech are topics I frequently cover in the classroom.
