Description

Class Experience

Students will:
Learn the definition of a "noun" and its major categories
Exercise their imaginations to add their own details
Practice taking turns and listening to one another in a group setting
For the last six years, I have worked in nature-based preschool classrooms. I love doing story dice games with young learners and encouraging them to create their own stories as well.

Please print the 3 dice BEFORE class begins. You will need scissors, a glue stick, or tape. 1. Print them (ideally on card stock, but regular paper also works) 2. Cut them out by the outline but DO NOT cut the tabs off. 3. Flip the dice so that the pictures side is down. 4. Fold up along each black line to form the cube. 5. Tuck the tabs into the dice and use glue or tape to make them stay together.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will set the expectation at the beginning of class that any of the kids original contributions do need to be school-appropriate.
