**Please see the supply list for this class. In this one time class, students will define what a noun is and generate a class list of nouns all around them through discussion and observation. Students will categorize and create their own lists of nouns on anchor chart worksheets that are provided for printing at home. We will use the remaining three worksheets to work our way through coloring, cutting, pasting, and writing activities to help us identify and utilize nouns correctly in...
Students will learn what a noun is and be able to identify and use them in sentences.
Homework Offered
Optional: Students can illustrate 5 nouns from their list they generated and create a sentence to go with each one. Students can revisit and complete any worksheets that we started together in class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students will be informally assessed as they are able to identify and gather nouns from around town, and use them in their own sentences.Grades Offered
