Homework
1 hour per week. Completion of class activities if time did not permit for the learner to get all of their ideas on paper. Extension activities will be provided in post-class recap.
Assessment
Feedforward will be delivered in the moment and through class recaps and is designed to take our ideas and interpretations to the next level, capturing more key ideas.

Together we will read the chapter and complete various activities that involve: synonyms, antonyms, comic strip creation, problem solution, analyzing a picture, genre and realistic fiction, 

With each chapter averaging 12 pages, our group will follow the general agenda:

1) share and read-a-loud
2) annotate, note, question, discuss
3) extension activity from the the class workbook available at Teacher Pay Teachers

 Meet and greet our peers for class! and learn how we will annotate in our books, use space for our thoughts, and extend our thinking to an activity book that we can enjoy completing and sharing ideas together over the course of class.

 Let's read together and capture all of our good thoughts and ideas - and annotate!

 As we read, we will focus on the use of various types of words, adding words for pictures, and jotting down our thoughts to make great annotations.
