Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
The students should read each book before coming to class. The students may also listen to an adult or older child read the book before class.

In this club, the students will discuss a new Notebook of Doom book written by Troy Cummings each week.
We will discuss the book, talk about the vocabulary, and answer trivia questions. The students are asked to bring one trivia question about the book to ask the other students. The students can also ask questions about vocabulary words. Please post the vocabulary words in class comments the day before our club meets.

In this club, we will discuss the plot of the story, the characters, the problem, and the different monsters. I will prepare some discussion questions for each class. I will also prepare trivia questions for the students. We will play a trivia game at the end of each class if there is time.
The learners may make their own monster that relates to the book and share with other book club members.

Please remember your trivia question. If you have questions about a vocabulary word, please ask them on the classroom page.
