In this one-time class, we will discover three new styles of note-taking that students can use to improve their speed and efficiency for teens. I will thoroughly explore the three styles, showing students examples of how they are done. Presentation will be engaging with video clips and images, and we will practice each of the styles as well so that students can try them out. Styles included are the Cornell style of note-taking, the outlining style of note-taking, and mind-mapping. I will also show students how to take notes quickly using short-cuts.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their ability to take notes quickly and efficiently through new note-taking methods.

A note-taking handout will be provided upon enrollment for students to use during class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I am a fifteen-year veteran public school teacher licensed in many subjects including middle school History/Social Science, English, and teaching experience with the Humanities.
