Welcome to this note taking class! I will explain to students how to take notes! Then, we will practice applying this skill by writing math notes! For example, I will present math vocabulary to them, such as words to describe fractions and words to describe adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Then, I will walk students through writing the notes down, step by step! We will write questions on one side of the page, and students will use them to quiz themselves during review! And we will write summaries of the definitions on the other side of the page! Students will learn how to read and listen to information and then take meaningful notes! This is an individual tutoring class!
