A fun, engaging high school English Language Arts class for teens. Learners will develop an understanding of everyday English. This is not a "textbook" ELA course, but a practical grammar usage course.

Welcome to Miss Tee's Grammar Party! This class class is a fun class/session that is about all things high school grammar. Learning should be fun and not boring and this class is a great supplement to any ELA curriculum. We learn, play review games, and just have an overall good time together while formulating a better understanding of "everyday" English grammar and mechanics. This is a very fun and exciting ongoing class in which students will learn all things grammar that would be found...
I am a former English & Language Arts (ELA) tutor/teacher assistant for grades K-5 and a current high school teacher. I see so many students that are not where they need to be when it comes to reading in high school. I think a great deal of this comes from not having that strong foundation that is needed in elementary school/younger ages. I believe that reading is fundamental. I want students to develop a love for all things English Language Arts and reading. Students should read because they love to and want to, not because they have to. This is why I am passionate about teaching students how to reading because it is important not just in school, but in life period.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
