This class is intended to be a positive, lighthearted, solution-centered, discussion-based, uplifting environment for students. During discussion, it is possible that students may bring up sensitive topics. As the teacher, I will always hold space for those students while gently guiding conversation back to skills and solutions. All classroom activities are science-based strategies that are age-appropriate and peer-reviewed. All have been utilized by myself in the classroom setting as interventions for 12-15 year old students.
