Description
Class Experience
This lesson will teach that being bald does not change a personality.
I have experience teaching students (and even my own child) about hair loss. My husband is a cancer fighter. I have experience teaching our preschooler that daddy's eyebrows may have disappeared, however, his love for her is still the same. When my previous students and faculty members experienced hair loss, I witnessed young students find their wigs both scary and silly. The more they understood, the more kindness they demonstrated. When I shaved my own head for a cancer fundraiser, I was happy to show my own students that I was no one to fear and no one to tease. I was still the same silly art teacher that I've always been.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This to be an opportunity for students to discuss and engage with other students also effected by baldness, either directly or in-directly. I will encourage positive and open conversation, however, parent guidance is welcome.
