Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to analyze literature through listening to and responding to fairy tales & folk tales.
I am a certified teacher with seven years' experience in teaching public school. I am a homeschool educator of sixteen years. I taught literature classes at a local homeschool co-op. I am currently a literature and mythology presenter with Professional Home Educator. I am also a teacher member of the Folger Shakespeare Library.
There is no required homework; however, I will offer suggestions for follow-up reading and studies.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner assessment is done informally through observation during class meetings.
3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Some fairy tales may feature episodes of mild violence.
