Students will learn about North Carolina coastal geography and facts about 7 lighthouses, and will work on mapping and comparing and contrasting skills, critical thinking skills, and organizing and expressing their thoughts.
I have a degree in secondary social studies education and 14 years of classroom experience both in public schools and in homeschool enrichment classes. I have been teaching on Outschool since August of 2020.

A grownup may wish to have a stapler to put the booklet together once all 4 weeks of pages have been completed. Or if learners would rather put their booklet in a folder or notebook, a hole punch might be needed.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Scissors may be used in a Week 2 activity and a stapler (or a hole punch) may be used to put together the completed booklet at the end of class.
