Description

Class Experience

Students will come to understand what nonverbal communication is and how it is used around us. Students will also have a better understanding of what others are saying with their face/body when in a conversation.
I have a Master's degree in Professional Communication. In the past two years I have taught several public speaking courses and guest lectured to teach nonverbal communication for a local university. I am passionate about being able to communicate and understand others around you to the best of your abilities.
No homework will be assigned for this course as it is a one-time class.
I would recommend students having paper and something to write with, however this is not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I am happy to provide an informal assessment/written report about student participation at parent's request.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
