In this class students will learn what nonverbal communication is and how they can use critical thinking and their social skills to interpret what other's are saying nonverbally.

Class Experience

Nonverbal communication refers to the way we move our hands and face, the tone of our voice, eye contact and facial expressions. Our body and face often communicate more than our words do, but how can we tell? In this class we'll learn about the different types of nonverbal communication and how we can better understand what the people around us are saying, even without their words.

Students will come to understand what nonverbal communication is and how it is used around us. Students will also have a better understanding of what others are saying with their face/body when in a conversation.

I have a Master's degree in Professional Communication. In the past two years I have taught several public speaking courses and guest lectured to teach nonverbal communication for a local university. I am passionate about being able to communicate and understand others around you to the best of your abilities.
