Description
Class Experience
This is a PRIVATE room for existing students enrolled in my 3rd Grade Science Room. This is a one-time class for: 1) Students already enrolled in my 3rd grade science course who are need of tutoring will be invited to a single tutoring session at a time. THIS IS NOT and ongoing class but single as needed tutoring sessions. 2) This room will also be used to complete any make-up classes due to Teacher cancellation only. Students will learn or receive extra support in learning the Third Grade Standard Course of Study Topics throughout the year. These include Forces & Motion, The Universe and Earth and its Systems, Energy, Matter, Structures and Functions of Plants, Animals, and Ecosystems.

ALL Supplies will be listed here as well as int he regularly attended 3rd grade class. Weekly Toolbox: Lab coat (a large white shirt will do), safety goggles, pencils, notebook, colored pencils, scissors, glue Weekly Lesson Handouts Experiment Supplies as indicate per week
Students will be required to complete an exit ticket. Upon completing they will self-assess their understanding of the lesson with either a Green Circle= Understands lesson, Yellow Circle= Has some questions/Understands some of lesson, or Red Circle= Needs help/Suggested repeat lesson
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental Guidance is expected. While any materials and experiments are not intended to be harmful in any way, some tools and activities may require supervision while using or completing. Please make me aware of any special needs before your child's first class so that we can ensure they get the most out of their learning.
Any articles, books, or websites that may be used will be cited and provided within the lesson itself. As copyright and use permits change frequently, it is better to update and inform at the time of use. All sources used will be age-level and academically appropriate.
