Students are asked to bring a few nonfiction books to this class with them. During class, we will talk about what makes a book a nonfiction text and how it is different than fiction text. We will be introduced to the text features found in most nonfiction text, including a table of contents, index, glossary, photos, diagrams, timelines, headings, bold print, captions, graphs, and more!
