Nonfiction books have many text features that help the reader through the book. This class will introduce these features in a fun way! This is a great Language arts class that will help improve reading skills.

Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will locate text features in a nonfiction text and be introduced to the purpose of these text features.
With a parent's guidance, students are asked to find 3 or 4 nonfiction books to bring to class.
With a parent's guidance, students are asked to find 3 or 4 nonfiction books to bring to class. Additionally, they will need a pencil and about 20 sticky/post-it notes.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
