*In this ongoing class, learners will read nonfiction texts on a different topic each week. Teaching students how to read and understand what they are reading is my niche. I am very dynamic, expressive and creative. This greatly helps with engaging my students throughout the whole class. I love building rapport and getting to know each child genuinely. I taught first grade for 7 years at 2 very good schools. I've also taught 2nd and 4th grade. I'm very confident in teaching children how to read. I'm trained in multiple reading, writing and spelling programs. Teaching reading is one of my passions.
