Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about a helpful way to cope with worry and anxiety. 
I am a licensed certified Special and General Education teacher with several years experience teaching children with emotional and behavioral disorders. I am also a final year graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
 1 file available upon enrollment
A small jar or cup, in addition to creative materials (pencils, crayons, markers, stickers, and drawing paper) will be needed to complete the activity. No jar or cup available? No worries! :) I've also attached a printable Worry Jar template to be used, if a jar is unavailable.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We read and refer to the children's book "Wemberly Worried" by Kevin Henkes throughout the lesson.
