This course is designed to cover the curriculum for an entire school year, spanning from August to May. Throughout the year, there will be scheduled breaks to accommodate holidays, United States federal holidays, and spring break.

This 36-week live online course is specifically designed to provide comprehensive coverage of the Common Core State Standards for 6th-grade mathematics. I am a certified middle school math teacher in Illinois and Indiana. I hold 2 master’s degrees in teaching and special education and I am currently working on a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction. I am highly skilled at adapting to different learning styles and tailoring lessons to meet the individual student’s needs. Since 2003 I have taught math to students in 6th thru 10th grade. I have taught students of varied demographics and backgrounds.
Homework Offered
The online software IXL math is utilized to assign homework. This program serves as an assessment tool for students and allows me to assign practice exercises. Once your student is enrolled, an IXL account will be generated, and you will receive their login details.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
