In this one time class students will work side by side with the teacher via a zoom meeting to make homemade horse rice krispie treats. These treats are no bake and there will be no oven or microwave use during this class. We will start the class by mixing up our treats. Once our treats are made we will take turn sharing about our horse(s). If the students are making the treats for someone else's horse they are more than welcome to share about that horse. Please check supply list below prior to signing up for the class to check for any allergens.

Hello. I teach a lot of classes about animals and I also teach some reading classes. All of my animal classes are taught about animals that I own.
I love to educate people about animals, animal abuse and neglect. Almost all of my animals come to me as rescues. I like to teach others how to properly care for animals so that the animals can live a long and happy life. Research isn't always reliable as you get different answers in different books and it can be hard to figure out what's best. I am always open to questions. If you are interested in getting a certain pet, just want to learn about different pets or have a pet and want to verify the care is correct, I welcome everyone. I have also trained service dogs and I currently own a trained service dog.
I have taught local classes about the needs of turtles and tortoises, and also community education Sign language classes.
I am a homeschool parent. I have been homeschooling for over 15 years. In our homeschool adventure we use a lot of books and research for learning. We do not use textbooks.
I also have 3 years of college completed. I studied teaching with an emphasis on special education.
