In this 2 week series, I will introduce students to the NNAT3, as well as complete practice problems with them.

Class Experience

In this class, we will learn what the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT3) is all about.  We will learn some tips and tricks, what types of questions students will see,  and how to look at the questions.  We will then spend plenty of time looking at actual sample questions from the test and discussing answers to the questions.  Students will have time to analyze, confer with others, and explain their reasoning for why they chose the answers that they did.

I am the Gifted and Talented Lead Teacher at my public elementary school.  I spend time each year teaching students how to take ability tests to give them a better chance of qualifying for gifted services in our district.

Paper and pencil will be helpful on both days.  An additional device would be helpful for session 2.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

During our second session, we will use Kahoot as a form of practice and review.  This website is game based and allows students to answer questions in a game form and compete to answer questions quickly.  Having an additional device for that day will be helpful, but not required.
