NJ-MS There Is No Joy in Public Speaking...or Is There? (English, Speaking)
Class experience
US Grade 4 - 7
Public Speaking is considered by many as the number one fear in society today. In survey after survey Public Speaking has consistently beaten out bugs, and clowns, and even death. I had a speech teacher in college who taught me that it was okay to be bad at speaking before I was good at it. She taught me that the floor wouldn't open up and swallow me if I stuttered and that no one would laugh at me if I forgot something I was supposed to say. Her rule was that fear shouldn't stop me. I have provided all the scripts that we will use in this class, so come as you are.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
