I've been a professional illustrator and childrens art and drawing teacher for the past 10 years and I love sharing my passion for art with young artists. I teach in a step by step, construction method of drawing that doesn't rely on gimmicks but teaches the kids the 'real deal' fundamentals of drawing. We start with simple shapes and construction lines and build up to the finer details until adding the 'icing on the cake' by inking and colouring the final image.
All characters will be drawn from Nintendo games the students are familiar with and age appropriate. Some characters may carry swords or bows and arrows but there is no blood or gore in any of the images.
