30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Class Outline 1. Introductions: I will introduce myself, and ask students to tell me their names and age (if they feel comfortable sharing.) 2. We will go over what is needed for class & classroom expectations. 3. Review: I will review the movement terms used in class (run in place, jump, duck, freeze, catch, throw, and dodge). 4. Safety: I will review the importance of moving safely in class and having a safe place to move. I will also discuss students can rest and take water breaks as needed. 5. We will engage in fun movement activities by running in place while catching the falling feathers, jumping over the fence, ducking under the shooting arrows, catching the falling chocolates with our mouths, and dodging the kisses and moving hearts. 6. With time permitting we will draw a ninja, heart monster, chocolate, and a heart arrow. 7. Sometimes my classes run a few minutes over because students are excited and want to share their drawings and talk about their favorite part of class. If you have to leave before I officially end class, I completely understand. ** Students should know how to mute and unmute themselves. ** If a class time I have listed does not work for you, feel free to message me or request a time.
