Each week in this ongoing drawing club, learners will have fun drawing tons of ninja characters and learning art techniques along the way. Subjects for each session are grouped around different ninja poses and moves. Subjects are chosen each session based on students' interests. Meetings begin with introductions and greetings. As we draw together, students can converse and share their work. I use a professional full display Wacom Cintiq drawing tablet during class so that learners can see my art clearly and accurately. The class will wrap up with an optional ninja art sharing and goodbyes. This club is a fun time, and artists of all levels will enjoy it. My art and picture references will all be appropriate (no blood, no contact, etc...), and students are encouraged to do the same. I love drawing and martial arts, and I know the students will too, so join our club and let's Draw Ninjas!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! My name is Mr. Peden, and I make learning fun! In my experience, students learn best when they are engaged and invested in their education. Learning doesn't have to be bland. I design lessons around exciting stories and funny illustrations—engaging learners by teaching in a fun interactive way alongside characters and stories they enjoy.
Before teaching with Outschool, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Elementary Education. I taught as a classroom teacher for 9 years. During that time, I taught students with special needs and typical peers, ranging from K-5. I created and implemented over 140 Individual Education Plans during my tenure. Then, I obtained my Art and Physical Education K-12 certification and teaching students in grades 6-8 for a school year.
For the last 3 years, I have been teaching virtually for students of all ages and abilities, and I love it! I add to my lessons my artistic skills to develop individualized curriculums that excite and motivate students when I am not spending quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy drawing, writing, and practicing martial arts. I have self-published my own educational children's books.
I am ecstatic to create fun lessons for your students and plan to teach a variety of academic courses for all ages!
