Welcome! As a teacher and a mom, I know how important bedtime stories and routines are for little ones. I am excited to be a part of your child’s end to their day as we wind down with the bedtime story, “Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Brown Wise, a lullaby and and a sequencing activity to learn all about nighttime routines. Please have your child bring their favorite stuffie/lovie/blanket for a quick show and tell to develop social and language skills that are critical to preschool age development. Comfy pajamas are also highly encouraged! I am excited to see you in class!

Students will continue to develop early literacy, social and language skills as well as sequencing skills.

-Stuffie/Lovie/Blanket for Show and Tell -Print and Cut the nighttime routine sequencing cards (Parent will need to cut or supervise their child for this).

Hello! I’m Miss Jessie and I am very excited to teach on OutSchool. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-12) with Reading and ESOL Endorsements. I graduated in 2014 and began teaching as a Special Education Preschool Teacher. For about 3 years, I taught 3-5 year olds with varying disabilities from Autism to Speech and Articulation delays. Once I became a mom, I began teaching ESL online. I also have experience as a Preschool Assistant, Substitute Teacher, Nanny, and Youth Counselor.
I am very passionate about teaching Preschool students. This is such a wonderful age for developing a love for learning! Although academics are important in my classroom, I also focus on equipping each student with the language and social skills they need to learn and grow.
I absolutely love all things Disney! You will find that I like to incorporate Disney characters and stories in my classroom because I know many of my students will be just as excited to see the familiar friends they love!
