Some prior clay experience is requested, as there are many small detailed parts. In this self paced course, students will learn the steps needed to create each portion of our adorable miniature Nightmare Before Christmas charm sculptures. Polymer Bake Clay (I like to use Sculpey III Polymer Clay). *A little clay goes a LONG way in miniature sculpting! Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, dotting tool for eye sockets A cutting tool (clay knife or anything that you are comfortable with using) A non stick surface to work on A small rolling pin or paintbrush handle or anything smooth to roll out small pieces of clay. Variety of colors of polymer clay (including white, black, green, blue, red)... I used Glow in the Dark clay for Zero! Ultra Fine Point "Sharpie" permanent marker Metal Eye pins (Jewelry pins with loop) (to turn into charms before baking) Round or Oval Cookie Cutter) OPTIONAL: If using baked clay: Clear Water based gloss glaze for after baking (I use Sculpey Gloss Glaze). **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). Parental help is necessary.
