Exploring little-known roles of women in wars.

Historically, men have been viewed as the war heroes. When society thinks of women in war, we think only of their roles "back home." They had other roles, too, though. In this class, we'll learn about WWII's "Night Witches," Finland's Women's Red Guard, Russia's Women's Battalion, Mulan, and more! Lecture, discussion, pictures, and video clips will be employed.
